iQOO 12 5G Launch Date in India set for December 12, Amazon Availability Confirmed

The iQOO 12 series is arriving in China on November 7. We recently revealed key details about the upcoming iQOO 12 series, which is expected to include both a vanilla and 'Pro' model.

Additionally, the brand also confirmed that the iQOO 12 5G would be the first Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 smartphone in India. Now, iQOO has revealed an official launch date for the device in India.

iQOO 12 5G Launch Date in India Revealed

iQOO India CEO Nipun Marya recently confirmed that the iQOO 12 5G launch date in India is set for December 12, 2023. The teaser also highlights iQOO's partnership with BMW Motorsport.

The iQOO 12 5G will succeed the iQOO 11 5G, which debuted as the first Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 powered smartphone in India. As of now, other details about the iQOO 12 5G are still under wraps, although the device will go on sale through Amazon after its launch in the country.

iQOO 12 5G Specifications (Expected)

Apart from the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC, the iQOO 12 5G will also feature a dedicated Q1 e-sports chipset, which is said to enhance the gaming experience. The Snapdragon chip will likely be paired with up to 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and up to 512GB of UFS 4.0 storage.

The iQOO 12 5G is expected to feature a 6.78-inch 1.5K AMOLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate. The iQOO 12 5G could also pack a 5,000 mAh battery with 120W wired fast charging support. iQOO's upcoming flagship will run Android 14 out of the box with Funtouch OS 14 on top.

For optics, the iQOO 12 5G is said to feature a triple-camera setup with a periscope-telephoto lens that supports 100x zoom. The three cameras could include a 50 MP OmniVision OV50H with OIS support, a 50 MP Samsung JN1 sensor, and a 64 MP telephoto-periscope lens. The iQOO 12 5G is also expected to come in White, Black, and Red color options.
