iQOO is set to unveil its first flagship smartphone for 2024 in India later today. The iQOO 12 5G will debut as the country's first smartphone to use the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset.
To recall, the iQOO 12 and iQOO 12 Pro made their debut in China back in November. Now, only the vanilla variant is making its way to India. However, since the device was already unveiled in China, its specifications are well known.

The iQOO 12 5G launch in India is set to take place at 05:00 pm today. The iQOO 12 launch event will be livestreamed on the company's official YouTube channel. After its launch, the iQOO 12 5G will be available for purchase through Amazon India.

According to past reports, the iQOO 12 5G price in India will start from Rs 57,999 in India. To recall, the iQOO 12 price in China started from CNY 3,999 (roughly Rs 46,450). The iQOO 12 5G is offered in an Alpha Edition (Black) and a Legend Edition (White BMW Motorsport Theme).
iQOO 12 5G: What to Expect?
The iQOO 12 is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip paired with up to 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and up to 1TB of UFS 4.0 storage. Accompanying the Snapdragon SoC is a dedicated e-sports Q1 chip for an enhanced gaming experience. The iQOO 12 will run FuntouchOS 14 based on Android 14 out of the box.
The iQOO 12 will sport a 6.78-inch 1.5K AMOLED display with a 20:9 aspect ratio and HDR support. The panel boasts a 144Hz refresh rate and 2160Hz High frequency PWM dimming. Additionally, the screen offers a pixel density of 452 PPI and a peak brightness of 3,000 nits.
For optics, the iQOO 12 boasts a triple-camera setup with a 50 MP primary sensor. The main camera is paired with a 50 MP ultrawide lens and a 64 MP periscope-telephoto sensor. Up front, there's a 16 MP selfie camera with an f/2.45 aperture. It will also come with a 5,000 mAh battery with 120W fast charging support.
