iQOO 15 Specifications Tipped Ahead of Launch: 2K Display, Flagship Snapdragon Chip, Periscope Camera Expected

The iQOO 15 is expected to make its debut in China sometime in late October or early November. It will also be one of the first smartphones to adopt the new Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite 2 chip, which is also rumoured to be called the SD 8 Elite Gen 5.

While iQOO hasn't revealed any details about its upcoming flagship, prominent tipster Digital Chat Station (DCS) recently shared several specifications of the iQOO 15.

Apart from the new flagship Snapdragon chip, the tipster also revealed that the iQOO 15 will come with up to 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and up to 1TB of UFS 4.1 storage. Moreover, it is expected to pack a 7,000mAh battery with 100W wired as well as wireless fast charging support.

For optics, the leak reveals the iQOO 15 will feature a triple-camera setup on the back with a 50MP primary 1/1.5" sensor with OIS, a 50MP periscope lens, and a 50MP ultrawide shooter. Up front, the iQOO 15 could opts for a 32MP selfie camera. It is likely to support 4K video recording on all four camera lenses.

According to DCS, the iQOO 15 will use a 6.8-inch 2K LTPO AMOLED display from Samsung. It will also feature an in-display ultrasonic fingerprint reader, a large haptic motor, and dual-stereo speakers. Additionally, iQOO's upcoming flagship smartphone is also expected to feature a dedicated in-house chip to improve gaming performance.

iQOO 15 Series Launch Timeline

While the iQOO 15 launch in China is expected to take place sometime in October or November 2025, the handset is likely to arrive in India in December. Moreover, the brand is also expected to release two more flagships in 2026, namely the iQOO 15 Mini and iQOO 15 Ultra.
