iQOO 15 Gets New ‘Apex’ Color In India: Launch Set For April 1

iQOO has teased a new color option for the iQOO 15 in India. In a post shared on X, the company confirmed that the “Apex” variant will be introduced on April 1.

This isn’t a refresh in terms of hardware. The phone remains exactly the same under the hood. The update is purely about design.

With this, the iQOO 15 will now be available in three finishes in India: Legend, Alpha, and the upcoming Apex, which was already part of the lineup in China.

Same Phone, New Look

The Apex variant looks quite different from the existing Legend and Alpha finishes. Instead of a solid color, it uses a textured, almost marble-like pattern on the back.

The base appears to be a light silver or off-white tone, but it’s not flat. There are soft streaks of grey and slightly darker shades running diagonally, which gives it a fluid, almost brushed or stone-like effect. It doesn’t look glossy or flashy, more like a muted, premium finish that changes slightly depending on how light hits it.

Compared to the Legend variant’s clean white with stripes and the Alpha’s matte black, this one feels more organic and less uniform. It’s not trying to be loud, but it still stands out because of the texture.

The camera module, on the other hand, stays dark and bold, which creates a strong contrast against the lighter back panel. That contrast is probably what gives the Apex version its identity.

iQOO 15 Specs

Beyond the new finish, nothing changes. The iQOO 15 (review) still features a 6.85-inch 2K Samsung OLED display with a 144 Hz refresh rate and Dolby Vision support. It also carries IP68 and IP69 ratings.

It runs on the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5, paired with up to 16 GB RAM and 512 GB storage, along with a Q3 chip for gaming.

You also get a 7,000 mAh battery with 100W wired and 40W wireless charging, and a triple 50 MP camera setup on the back.

Lastly, the phone runs OriginOS 6 based on Android 16, with a promise of 5 OS updates and 7 years of security patches.
