iQOO 15R Price in India Revealed Ahead of Next Week’s Launch: Most Affordable Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 Smartphone?

The iQOO 15R is set to make its debut in India next week. The handset will debut as the first smartphone by iQOO to use the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chipset in India and if recent leaks are to be believed, the most affordable phone with the chip as well.

It is expected to be a rebranded version of the iQOO Z11 Turbo that was unveiled in China last month, with a few tweaks. While iQOO has been teasing details about the 15R ahead of the launch, a new leak gives us a detailed look into its exact pricing.

iQOO 15R Price in India Tipped

According to PassionateGeekz.com (passionategkeez), the iQOO 15R price in India will start from Rs. 45,999 for the base 8GB/256GB model. Moreover, the iQOO 15R will come in two more configurations:

• 12GB/256GB: Rs. 47,999
• 12GB/512GB: Rs. 52,999

The pricing mentioned above does not include any offers and only cements previous reports about the iQOO 15R debuting as the most affordable Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 smartphone. The iQOO 15R will come in two shades: Dark Knight and Triumph Silver, which features a silver checkered pattern.

The iQOO 15R is launching in India on February 24 at 12 pm (IST). Following its launch, the iQOO 15R will go on sale in India through Amazon.

iQOO 15R Specifications

The iQOO 15R will feature a 6.59-inch OLED display with 1.5K resolution and a 144Hz refresh rate. It is also expected to include an ultrasonic in-display fingerprint sensor. Under the hood, the handset will be powered by a Snapdragon chipset, paired with LPDDR5X RAM, UFS 4.1 storage, and a dedicated Q2 gaming chip.

On the software front, the iQOO 15R is expected to run Android 16 with OriginOS 6 on top. iQOO has reportedly committed to four years of Android OS updates and six years of security patches. The device is also said to pack a large 7,600mAh battery with support for 100W wired fast charging.

In terms of cameras, the iQOO 15R is tipped to sport a dual rear camera setup featuring a 50MP primary sensor with OIS and an 8MP ultrawide lens, marking a shift from the 200MP main camera seen on the iQOO Z11 Turbo. For selfies, it is expected to feature a 32MP front-facing camera.
