The iQOO 15R will debut later this month as the first smartphone from the brand to incorporate the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chip in India. While iQOO have already revealed key details about its upcoming flagship killer, new information recently emerged about iQOO 15R's pricing.

The iQOO 15R price in India will start from under Rs 50,000. The information was confirmed through the iQOO 15R's microsite on Amazon India. The site says that the "iQOO 15R provides for most stable 144fps in BGMI, amongst the smartphone launched under the price segment of INR 50K.

This will put the iQOO 15R in the same segment as the OnePlus 15R, which costs Rs 47,999. The iQOO 15R launch date in India is set for February 24 at 12 pm (IST). Following the launch, the iQOO 15R will go on sale in India through Amazon.

The company has confirmed that the iQOO 15R will receive four Android OS updates along with six years of security patches. The smartphone will ship with Android 16 out of the box, layered with OriginOS 6. The Amazon listing also confirms the iQOO 15R will feature a massive 7,600mAh silicon carbon battery.

Aimed at gamers, the device will feature iQOO's Q2 supercomputing chip, which is expected to deliver a stable 144fps gameplay experience in BGMI. It will be offered in black and silver colour options, with the silver variant sporting a distinctive checkered rear design.

According to reports, the iQOO 15R is a rebranded version of the iQOO Z11 Turbo that debuted in China earlier this month. As a result, it is likely to feature a 32-megapixel front-facing camera and a dual rear camera setup comprising a 200-megapixel primary sensor with OIS and an 8-megapixel ultra-wide lens.

The handset is expected to sport a 6.59-inch OLED display with 1.5K resolution and a 144Hz refresh rate. It may be equipped with up to 16GB of LPDDR5x RAM and 512GB of UFS 4.1 storage and could support 100W fast wired charging. The iQOO 15R will likely debut as a rebranded version of the iQOO Z11 Turbo, which was unveiled in China last month.
