iQOO Neo 12 Specs Leaked: 2K Display, 9,000mAh+ Battery, and Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5
iQOO has a busy second half planned. The Neo 11S is coming to China next month, the iQOO 16 is in the pipeline, and now tipster Digital Chat Station has dropped what looks like the first detailed look at the Neo 12's internals. There's a lot to unpack here, especially on the battery front.

A Big Screen With an Even Bigger Refresh Rate Option
The Neo 12 is reportedly running tests on a 6.83-inch flat panel with 2K resolution. The base configuration is said to target 165Hz, but iQOO is apparently also evaluating a 185Hz variant of the same panel. Which one ships is still up in the air.
A dedicated display chip is also in the mix, something iQOO has been leaning into for gaming-focused devices. It should help with rendering consistency and frame smoothness, particularly under sustained load.
Battery Details
Engineering prototypes are reportedly carrying a battery whose capacity starts with a 9. That puts it somewhere above 9,000mAh, and iQOO is said to be testing an even larger option on top of that.
100W wired charging is expected to be on board, which should keep the actual charge times reasonable despite the size.
Chipset and Everything Else
The Neo 12 is pegged for the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5, the top-end Qualcomm silicon.
An ultrasonic in-display fingerprint scanner is also expected, along with a high IP rating for water resistance. The specific certification hasn't been confirmed yet. Camera specs are still unknown, and iQOO hasn't given any hints there.
Expected Launch Timeline
Nothing official from iQOO yet. Based on how the brand has paced launches in previous years, October is a reasonable window to watch. The Neo 11S comes first, then the heavier hitters follow.
