iQOO Neo 8 Pro 5G Specifications, Launch Date Leaks: 1.5K Display, Dimensity 9200+ SoC Tipped
The iQOO Neo 8 series is expected in a couple of months. Succeeding the popular iQOO Neo series launched last year, the upcoming series will likely include the iQOO Neo 8, iQOO Neo 8 SE, and the iQOO Neo 8 Pro.
A recent leak has revealed a few key specifications of the iQOO Neo 8 Pro 5G, likely the top-end smartphone of the series. Let’s take a look at what the leak suggests about this upcoming 5G smartphone.

iQOO Neo 8 Pro 5G Leaked Specifications, Features
The iQOO 7 series launched in India recently. While IQOO must be working actively on its next generation of smartphones, it has not acknowledged the presence of an iQOO 8 series.
However, tipster Digital Chat Station recently leaked the display and camera specifications of the purported iQOO Neo 8 Pro. iQOO seems to have bumped up the screen resolution on this smartphone, as evident from the leak.

Smartphones in the iQOO 7 series came with Full HD+ AMOLED screens, so the iQOO 8 series is also likely to have AMOLED displays. The leak claims iQOO will offer a 1.5K resolution instead of the 1080p resolution it currently uses on its displays.
The leak further claims a MediaTek Dimensity 9200+ SoC will power the smartphone. If the leak is accurate in its claims, the iQOO Neo 8 Pro will feature one of the most powerful chipsets available currently.
The upcoming iQOO Neo 8 Pro 5G is rumored to have a 50MP camera with a 1/1.5-inch camera sensor. It is not immediately clear which camera is being referred to here, but we can assume it to be the primary camera sensor out of the triple-camera setup at the back.
A few reports speculate that the smartphone could have up to 16GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. The 5000mAh battery would likely support 120W wired fast charging.
iQOO Neo 8 Pro 5G Launch Date, Availability
The Neo 7 5G launched in India recently as a rebadged Neo 7 SE 5G. The iQOO Neo 8 series is rumored to launch in May this year. The launch will most likely take place in China first.
iQOO has been launching its smartphones in India steadily. Hence, the iQOO Neo 8 series could launch in India, but iQOO will likely rebrand the devices before releasing them in the Indian market.
