iQOO Neo 8 Pro Specs Leaked: Dimensity 9200+ SoC, 1.5K AMOLED Screen Tipped

The specifications of the iQOO Neo 8 Pro smartphone have leaked online. The premium Android smartphone is tipped to feature a 1.5K AMOLED display, MediaTek Dimensity 9200+ SoC, 16GB RAM, and much more.

iQOO recently launched the iQOO Neo 7 smartphone in India. The company hasn't confirmed the existence of the iQOO Neo 8 series, but key features have surfaced online. Let's look at all the available details of the as-yet-unannounced smartphone Vivo's sub-brand.

iQOO Neo 8 Pro Leaked Specifications, Features

With the iQOO Neo 7 series launched only recently, there's still some time before iQOO starts teasing the iQOO Neo 8 series. The upcoming series is expected to include the iQOO Neo 8 and iQOO Neo 8 Pro smartphones.

While the iQOO Neo 8 is rumored to pack the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC, the iQOO Neo 8 Pro is tipped to feature MediaTek Dimensity 9200+ chipset and is expected to flaunt a large 6.78 inches AMOLED display with a 1.5K resolution.

The iQOO Neo 8 Pro display is tipped to have a refresh rate of 120Hz with a resolution of 2800 x 1260 pixels. It would support 2160Hz PWM dimming. Needless to mention, the handset's display and its chipset are a significant upgrade over the iQOO Neo 7 series.

The MediaTek Dimensity 9200+ chipset will likely power the smartphone with up to 16GB of RAM and 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage. There could be another variant with 12GB RAM and 256GB of internal storage.

A previous report about the iQOO Neo 8 Pro suggested that the smartphone would feature a 50MP primary rear camera. iQOO is tipped to embed a large, 1/1.5-inch camera sensor in the phone. Its other camera sensors aren't known yet, but the iQOO Neo 8 Pro will likely have a powerful triple rear camera setup comprising an ultra-wide-angle sensor and a telephoto sensor.

The iQOO Neo 8 Pro will likely have a 5000mAh battery and, similar to the iQOO Neo 7, could support 120W wired fast charging via a USB-C port. The device might run FuntouchOS 13 OS based on Android 13.

iQOO Neo 8 Pro Expected Launch In India

iQOO hasn't acknowledged the existence of the iQOO Neo 8 Pro. However, a few reports suggest that the brand may launch the smartphone in the third quarter of this year.

The iQOO Neo 8 series may launch in China, but the brand may alter the names slightly. Since the iQOO Neo 7 series launched in India, the iQOO Neo 8 series will likely arrive in India after its launch in China.
