iQOO is gearing up for the launch of its Neo 9 series in China and the lineup includes the iQOO Neo 9 and the iQOO Neo 9 Pro. While key specifications have already surfaced online, recent leaks have unveiled the design details, adding to the anticipation.
Design Insights
DigitalChatStation, a reputable tipster, has shared schematics of the iQOO Neo 9, offering a sneak peek into the design. The display features a center-positioned punch-hole cutout for the selfie shooter, flat edges, and narrow bezels.

The right edge houses the volume rocker and power button, ensuring an ergonomic design. Moving to the back, a dual-tone design is evident, with two large modules on the left edge housing at least triple camera sensors and an LED flash. The phone is also expected to be available in multiple color options.
Display and Build Upgrades
The iQOO Neo 9 series is anticipated to sport a 6.78-inch display with narrow bezels, providing an immersive visual experience. Notably, the plastic frame of its predecessor is rumored to be replaced by a more durable metallic chassis.
Expected Specifications
The vanilla iQOO Neo 9 is rumored to be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC, while the Pro model might feature the MediaTek Dimensity 9300. Both variants could offer configurations with up to 16GB of RAM and 256GB of storage.
Display features are anticipated to include an FHD+ AMOLED display, likely with a 120Hz refresh rate and a punch-hole cutout. The iQOO Neo 9 lineup is speculated to run on the Android 14 OS out of the box
Launch Expectations
While the iQOO Neo 8 has already made its mark in China, the Neo 9 is expected to make its debut in the first quarter of the coming year.
