However, the company is not resting on its laurels, as leaks suggest the imminent arrival of the iQOO Neo 9 series. Renowned Chinese tipster Digital Chat Station has provided a sneak peek into the camera specifications, so let's take a look.
The upcoming iQOO Neo 9 series is expected to have a 50MP primary camera, according to Digital Chat Station. The tipster suggests that the main camera will use a Sony IMX920 sensor. While the exact name of the device has not been revealed, the anticipated launch next month suggests that it will be part of the Neo 9 series.

The Sony IMX920 sensor is not exclusive to iQOO; it's also expected to grace the Vivo X100 series, scheduled for release in China on November 13.
Neo 8 Series: A Glimpse into the Past
To understand the trajectory of the Neo 9 series, we glance back at its predecessor, the Neo 8 lineup. These devices featured a 6.78-inch display with a 1.5K resolution and an impressive 144Hz refresh rate. Boasting up to 1300 nits brightness, the display incorporated a punch-hole cutout for the selfie camera. The iQOO Neo 9 series is expected to launch in China in December, according to leaks. The Neo 9 and Neo 9 Pro, with model numbers V2338A and V2339A, respectively, are rumored to have Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 and Dimensity 9300 chipsets. The Neo 9 series, which is expected to run Origin OS 4 based on Android 14, may face competition from other rumored Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 contenders in the Chinese market such as the upcoming OnePlus Ace 3 and the Honor 100 series.
