iQOO has been launching some premium Android smartphones in India, including the iQOO 11 and the iQOO 7. The Vivo's sub-brand will reportedly launch a couple of 5G-enabled midrange smartphones this month. The iQOO Z7 and the iQOO Z7x could be positioned against the Redmi Note 12 Pro+ 5G, the Realme 10 Pro+ 5G, and other midrange Android smartphones.

According to a post on Weibo, the iQOO Z7 should officially arrive in India on March 21, 2023. The iQOO Z7x will also launch the day, claims the leak. Both smartphones will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon chipset. Let's look at all the available details of the upcoming midrange Android smartphones from iQOO.

iQOO Z7 and iQOO Z7x Leaked Specifications

iQOO recently acknowledged the existence of the iQOO Z7 series. However, most of the information about the Android smartphones in the series has been collated from leaks and rumors.

As the name indicates, the iQOO Z7 will be the base model in the upcoming iQOO Z7 series. It is rumored to pack the Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 SoC. This chipset has a 5G modem. The upcoming smartphone should pack 6GB or 8GB RAM, and buyers could get 128GB or 255GB of internal storage.

The iQOO Z7 series is the successor of the iQOO Z6 series Android smartphones that launched in August 2022. The iQOO Z6 packed a Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G+ SoC, which means the iQOO Z7 is packing a lower-end chipset.

The iQOO Z7x appears to be a decent upgrade, as it is rumored to be packing Qualcomm's Snapdragon 782 SoC. The upcoming smartphone should ship with 8GB or 12GB of RAM and buyers could get either 128GB or 256GB of internal storage.
