iQOO Z7 Teaser Arrives; Tipped to Launch in India Soon
The iQOO Z7 may launch in India soon, as iQOO India's CEO Nipun Marya has teased the upcoming phone's launch. The device will arrive as the iQOO Z6's successor, and is expected to debut in March. Here's everything we know about the iQOO Z7:
iQOO Z7 Teaser Hints at India Launch
Marya took to Twitter to tease the brand's latest Z-series smartphone. The poster shared by the iQOO CEO shows a smartphone partially hidden under a blue veil. While the tweet doesn't reveal any specific details, the image shows the iQOO Z7's back panel and rear cameras.

A closer look at the teased image reveals that the iQOO Z7 might feature a dual camera setup with OIS (Optical Image Stabilization) support. The camera module is accompanied by an LED flash, and the smartphone sports the IQOO branding at the bottom.
According to previous reports, the iQOO Z7 series in India might comprise the iQOO Z7 5G and the iQOO Z7 Pro 5G. These smartphones will have model numbers I2207 and I2213 respectively. Meanwhile, the brand is reported to launch the iQOO Z7 and the iQOO Z7x in China, with model numbers V2270A and V2272A respectively.
It is speculated that the iQOO Z7 series will go on sale via Amazon. Although not much is known about the Z7, we can expect it to feature some improvements over its predecessor, the iQOO Z6.
iQOO Z6 Features
The iQOO Z6 5G sports a 6.58-inch IPS LCD screen. It has a Full HD+ resolution of 1,080 x 2,408 pixels, aspect ratio of 20:9, refresh rate of 120Hz, and pixel density of 401 ppi.
When it comes to the processing power, the iQOO Z6 is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 processor. It has a 5,000mAh battery with 18W fast charging support. The device boots Android 12-based Funtouch OS 12.
Moving on to the camera, the Z6 features a triple-camera setup comprising a 50MP primary camera, 2MP macro sensor, and 2MP depth sensor. At the front, there's a 16MP camera for selfies and video calls.
