iQOO recently launched the iQOO Z7 5G in India. It is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 920 chipset. The brand is readying another smartphone in the series for the Indian market, called the iQOO Z7x 5G, which may be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon SoC.

Vivo's sub-brand iQOO launched the iQOO Z7x 5G in China recently. The Z7x 5G that is tipped to arrive in India could be different from its Chinese counterpart. Let's take a look at the rumored Indian variant of the iQOO Z7x 5G.

iQOO launched the iQOO Z7 5G and the iQOO Z7x, which clearly belong to the iQOO Z7 series, in China recently. The Chinese variant of the iQOO Z7 5G is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 782G SoC, while the iQOO Z7x is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 chipset.

The iQOO Z7 5G, which arrived in India recently, is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 920 chipset. The iQOO Z7x Android smartphone, meant for Indian markets, hasn't been officially acknowledged by Vivo's sub-brand. Hence, most of the specifications and features of the smartphone have been collated from rumors and leaks.

The iQOO Z7x model meant for the Indian market has model number I2216 claims a leak. The variant has a 6.63-inch Full HD+ IPS LCD with a resolution of 1080 x 2380 pixels. The screen is rumored to have a 19:9 aspect ratio and a 120Hz refresh rate.

The Z7x 5G India variant may feature a Qualcomm Snapdragon SoC, presumably the Snapdragon 695. Buyers may get up to 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage with the smartphone.

The latest leak about the iQOO Z7x 5G claims there's a dual camera setup on the back of the smartphone, comprising a 50MP main camera along with a 2MP depth sensor. There's an 8MP front-facing camera for selfies, video calls, and face unlock. The smartphone has a side-mounted fingerprint scanner for biometric authentication, claims the leak.

The iQOO Z7x 5G may pack a 6000mAh battery. The fast-charging speed of the Indian variant of the Z7x 5G isn't known yet. The Chinese variant supports 80W fast charging. As the Indian variant of the iQOO Z7 5G supports 44W FlashCharge wired fast charging, it is possible the Indian variant of the iQOO Z7x 5G will support the same technology.

Given the specifications, the iQOO Z7x is undoubtedly a mid-range smartphone. The device is rumored to launch in India in the next few weeks.

The iQOO Z7x 5G should arrive in India with three storage options. The base model of the smartphone is expected to pack 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage, while the top-end model is tipped to pack 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage.

Some reports suggest the Z7x 5G India price will start at ₹14,000 for the base variant. The top-end model of the iQOO smartphone could be priced between ₹16,000 and ₹17,500. There could be three color options for the smartphone to choose from.
