itel Launches P40 Smartphone With 6,000mAh Battery and 6.6 Inch HD Display
itel has launched its latest budget offering in India, the P40 smartphone. itel touts the 6.6-inch display and the massive 6,000mAh battery as the smartphone's key selling points. Apart from that, the phone has a dual-camera setup, Android 12 Go edition, and 18W charging support.
itel P40: Specifications
The itel P40 sports a 6.6-inch HD display with a refresh rate of 60Hz and a touch sampling rate of 120Hz. The display resolution is 1612 x 720 pixels. The phone has thick bezels with a waterdrop notch that houses the front-facing camera.

The itel P40 uses a Unisoc SC9863A SoC and supports up to 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage.
The back of the smartphone sports a big camera island that houses a dual-camera setup with an LED flash and a physical fingerprint scanner.
In terms of optics, the phone packs a dual-camera setup with a 13MP primary camera and a VGA secondary camera. The front sports a 5MP selfie shooter.
The phone packs a massive 6,000mAh battery, which the company claims can offer a standby time of 57 days. Also, the phone supports 18W wired charging.
The device boots the Android 12 Go edition out of the box. In terms of connectivity, the phone has Wi-Fi, 4G, GPS, and Bluetooth.
The phone comes in multiple variants: 6GB with 32GB, 4GB with 64GB, and 7GB with 64GB storage. Thanks to microSD card support, storage capacity can be increased to 512GB.
There is also a technology called "Memory Fusion," which uses some of the internal storage as RAM. This effectively increases the amount of RAM in the phone up to 3GB.
Lastly, the phone offers three color options: Force Black, Dreamy Blue, and Luxurious Gold.

The itel P40 retails for ₹7,699 and can be purchased from itel's official website and leading offline stores. itel is providing a 12-month warranty as well as a free one-time screen replacement.
