Lava Agni 2S Reportedly Launching in India Soon: Could Feature Similar Specs as Agni 2 5G
Lava is gearing up to launch a new smartphone in India soon. The Lava Agni 2S is tipped to debut later this month. The Lava Agni 2S will succeed the Lava Agni 2 5G, which arrived in India earlier this year.
The Lava Agni 2 5G featured a highly successful debut in the country, dominating the 20K to 25K segment in the country. And Lava appears to be building on that success with the upcoming Agni 2S 5G.

Lava Agni 2S Launch: What to Expect
According to tipster Yogesh Brar, the Lava Agni 2S is expected to feature the same specifications as the Lava Agni 2 5G, although the former will likely arrive with a new chipset.
To recall, the Lava Agni 2 5G is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7050 SoC paired with the ARM Mali-G68 GPU. We also expect the Lava Agni 2S price in India to fall anywhere between Rs 20,000 to Rs 25,000, the same as its predecessor.

For now, here are the rest of the Lava Agni 2 5G specifications. The Lava Agni 2 5G is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7050 SoC paired with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. Additionally, up to 8GB of memory can be used as virtual RAM.
Lava's mid-range 5G smartphone also sports a 6.78-inch FHD+ Curved AMOLED display with double reinforced glass protection. The screen boasts a 120Hz refresh rate, 105% NTSC colour depth, HDR10+ support, and is L1 DRM Widevine certified.
For optics, the Lava Agni 2 5G gets a quad-camera setup with a 50 MP camera with 1.0-micron (1um) pixel size sensor. The main camera here is paired with an 8 MP ultrawide unit, a 2 MP depth sensor, and a 2 MP macro lens. Up front, there's a 16 MP selfie camera.
The Agni 2 5G runs on stock Android 13 with Lava promising software updates till Android 15 and three years of security updates. The handset also offers support for 13 5G bands. The Agni 2 5G packs a 4,700 mAh battery with 66W fast charging support.
