Lava’s New Budget 5G Phone Debuts with a Snapdragon Chip, Fast UFS 3.1 Storage, and a 50MP AI Camera

Lava has officially unveiled a new budget 5G smartphone in India. The Lava Blaze Dragon is the latest addition to India's sub-10K smartphone segment and comes with support for all major 5G bands across the country. Additionally, Lava's latest affordable smartphone also features a competitive specs sheet.

Lava Blaze Dragon Specifications

The Lava Blaze Dragon is powered by the Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 chipset and is touted to deliver an overall AnTuTu score of 450K+ points. Moreover, it will come with 4GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 128GB of fast UFS 3.1 storage. Additionally, up to 4GB of unused storage can be utilized as virtual RAM.

The Lava Blaze Dragon sports a 6.75-inch HD+ (720x1612 pixels) LCD screen with a 20:9 aspect ratio. The display boasts a 120Hz refresh rate and a over 450 nits of brightness. It also packs a 5,000 mAh battery with 18W wired fast charging support.

The Lava Blaze Dragon runs a clean version of Android 15. Lava is promising one Android OS update and two years of regular security patches with the Blaze Dragon. On the back, the Lava's budget 5G smartphone features a 50MP AI camera, while an 8MP selfie shooter sits up front.

Lava Blaze Dragon Price, Offers, Availability in India

The Lava Blaze Dragon price in India starts from Rs 9,999 for the sole 4GB/128GB model. The handset is offered in Gold Mist and Midnight Mist color options. The Lava Blaze Dragon will go on sale in India starting August 1 at 12 noon via Amazon.

Lava is also offering an instant bank discount of Rs 1,000 during the Amazon Great Freedom Festival, which kicks off on August 1. Lava is also offering an additional Rs 1,000 exchange bonus during the sale.
