Lava has launched the Virat V1 Pro 5G in India, expanding its recently introduced Virat smartphone lineup. The new model joins the Lava Virat V1 5G and Virat V1 4G in the company's portfolio.

The Lava Virat V1 Pro 5G is powered by a Unisoc chipset and comes with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. Other key specifications include a 6,000mAh battery, a 120Hz display and a dual rear camera setup.

The Lava Virat V1 Pro 5G price in India is set at Rs. 15,999 for the sole configuration with 6GB RAM and 128GB storage. The smartphone will be available with bank offers that can reduce the effective price by up to Rs. 2,000.

The phone will go on sale in India on August 31 at 12pm IST via Flipkart. It is available in two colour options: Sikkim Midnight and Spiti Frost.

The Lava Virat V1 Pro 5G features a 6.75-inch HD+ LCD display with a resolution of 720x1,600 pixels. The screen supports a refresh rate of up to 120Hz and has a pixel density of 260ppi.

Under the hood, the smartphone uses an octa-core Unisoc T8200 chipset with a peak clock speed of 2.6GHz. It is paired with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. The handset runs Android 16 out of the box.

For photography, the Lava Virat V1 Pro 5G has a dual rear camera setup housed inside a square-shaped module.
