Lenovo A6000 now receiving Lollipop update
Lenovo has already nearly 1.3 million A6000 and A6000 Plus device in India, but that hasn't deterred the company to send an OTA Lollipop updates for its existing customers. After providing a Lollipop update for A6000 last week, the company is now providing an update for A6000 Plus in the country.

The Lollipop update has started rolling out from tomorrow morning of the cheaper sibling A6000. The device was launched in India in January and ran Android KitKat 4.4.4 out of the box. According to the company the Lollipop updates bring bug fixes, performance improvements and stability over the KitKat version of the Vibe UI.

Add features include a better notification panel. Battery saver features, Better Security Locking including Android Smart Lock etc. Post updates don't be surprised to see an all new lock screen and homepage wallpaper.

The size of the Android Lollipop update is 995MB and will be available via OTA.
