September has been an interesting month for Lenovo fans as well as the general consumers. After launching the K8 Plus and K8 Note earlier this month in the country, Lenovo has yet again launched a new smartphone in the market.
Dubbed as Lenovo K8, the smartphone has been targeted at the young and spirited who want more from their device at a pocket-friendly price. However, the new Lenovo K8 features a similar design to that of K8 Plus. The only difference you can say is the single camera at the back.
The smartphone has been priced at Rs. 10, 499 and will be available in retail stores across the country starting today. The Lenovo K8 comes in Venom Black and Fine Gold colors. Having said that, while a new launch is always exciting, here is what the smartphone has to offer.
Display, Processors, RAM and Storage
Lenovo K8 comes with a 5.2-inch (1280 x 720 pixels) HD IPS display with 2.5D curved glass on top for added protection. The smartphone is powered by a 2.3GHz MediaTek Helio P20 Octa-Core 64-bit 16nm processor which is paired with ARM Mali T880 MP2 GPU. The handset offers 3GB of RAM and 32GB internal storage which is further expandable via microSD card.
Cameras, Battery and Software
Talking about the cameras, Lenovo K8 sports a 13MP rear camera with PDAF, LED flash. Up front, there is an 8MP camera with LED flash. The smartphone is backed by a 4000mAh battery and it comes with 10 Watt fast charger. runs on Android 7.1.1 Nougat.
Connectivity Options, Sensors and more
The dual-SIM handset offers connectivity options like 4G VoLTE, WiFi 820.11 a/b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS, FM, USB OTG, 3.5mm audio port. Sensors onboard include Compass Magnetometer, Proximity sensor, Accelerometer, Ambient light sensor and Gyroscope. It measures 147.9 x 73.7 x 8.55 mm and weighs in at 165g.
Additionally, Lenovo K8 Note comes with TheatreMax feature and Dolby Atmos technology that enhances the multimedia experience for the users. The device also features a fingerprint scanner at the rear for added security.
