Lenovo K8 Note to go on sale today exclusively via Amazon

Earlier this month, Lenovo announced the killer smartphone - K8 Note as an Amazon exclusive. The device was launched in two variants - 3GB+32GB and 4GB+64GB priced at Rs. 12,999 and Rs. 13,999 respectively.

At the time of its launch, Lenovo announced that the K8 Note will go on sale in the country starting from today that is August 18 at 12 PM. The device is exclusive to the online retailer Amazon India. Lenovo and Amazon have joined hands to provide attractive launch offers as well. Idea Cellular gives 64GB 4G data and unlimited calls for 56GB at just Rs. 343. Also, buyers of the device who sign in to the Kindle app on their K8 Note will get Rs. 300 worth free Kindle ebooks.

Talking about the highlights of the Lenovo K8 Note, the smartphone features a dual-lens rear camera setup, runs on stock Android and uses the MediaTek Helio X20 SoC. Also, there are features such as Dolby Atmos, TheaterMax, and a dedicated Music key targeted at the entertainment enthusiasts. Furthermore, this device has a water repellent nano-coating that makes it resistant to accidental splashes of water.

In terms of technical specs, the Lenovo K8 Note boasts of a 5.5-inch FHD 1080p display with 178-degree wide viewing angle and Gorilla Glass protection. The device gets the power from a deca-core MediaTek Helio X20 SoC manufactured using the 20nm process. There is support for expandable storage using a dedicated microSD card. Running Android 7.1.1 Nougat with stock Android experience, the Lenovo smartphone draws power from a 4000mAh battery that supports Turbo Charging as well.

As mentioned above, the Lenovo K8 Note features a dual-lens rear camera with 13MP and 5MP sensors. The dual-lens camera is claimed to capture shots with the bokeh effect. Up front, there appears to be a 13MP sensor with Pro Mode, Beautify Mode and selfie flash.
