Lenovo K8 Plus goes on sale in India: Exciting launch offers, availability and more

    Lenovo just launched its new smartphone the K8 Plus in India. And now the latest addition to the newly introduced K8 series has gone on sale on Flipkart starting today at 12 PM. The handset is priced at Rs. 10,999 and is available in Venom Black and Fine Gold colors.

    Besides, the phone also comes with a host of launch offers: Interested buyers can buy the Moto Pulse 2 headphones at just Rs. 599. They will get up to Rs. 10,000 discount on exchange of old smartphones, up to 30GB additional data from Jio, Rs. 100 discount on the Flipkart SmartBuy 5W Bluetooth speaker, extra 15 percent off on fashion and lifestyle products. The offer will be valid from September 7 to 8.

    Lenovo K8 Plus First Impressions

    Lenovo K8 Plus comes with a 5.2-inch full HD display and Gorilla glass as well as an Oleophobic coating on top. K8 Plus features DOLBY ATMOS and a dedicated Music Key for an immersive music listening key. The dedicated music key can be customised by the user according to needs.

    The device is powered by a 2.6Ghz Helio P25 Octa-core processor paired with 3GB RAM. K8 Plus has 32GB internal storage and it can be expanded up to 128GB via microSD card.

    The main highlight of K8 Plus though is the vertical dual rear camera setup which consists of 13MP Purecel Plus sensor + 5MP depth sensor and f/2.0 Largan Precision 5-element lens. There is an 8MP front camera that comes with flash.

    Further, the dual-SIM smartphone is backed by a 4000mAh battery and the company claims that it will last for two days and will also deliver 13 hours of web browsing, 20 hours of video playback, 100 hours of music playback with headphones. The device runs on Android 7.1.1 Nougat OS and offers stock Android experience. The company has promised Android Oreo for the device.
