Lenovo first showcased their camera centric device dubbed the Vibe Shot at this year Mobile World Congress in Barcelona. Featuring a dual glass panel with metal towards the side, the Lenovo Vibe Shot succeeded to catch many an eyeballs. The company finally launched the device in China at $299.98 (Rs 18,774) in May.
Despite a high fanfare worldwide Lenovo is yet to launch the VibeShot internationally. However it's planned to hit international markets in a few months' time. However one may import the device from GearBest at a promotional price of just $299.89 with free worldwide shipping.
The device is presently on pre-sale on the Chinese resellers website at $315.99 but on can reduce the price by using this special coupon code: LVSGB. The pre-sale ends on 20th of September, after which the reseller will start shipping product across.
The USP of the Lenovo Vibe Shot though lied in the 16MP OIS camera on the back which came with not two but three LED flash! Lenovo beefed up the software too in the device by including a Pro Mode in the camera app. The app provides a ton of manual customization features ranging from manual ISO, Shutter Speed, and Selective Focus etc.
There's even a hardware button on the side profile of the device which enables users to shit from Pro to Normal Mode. Despite packing in an impressive camera, the Lenovo VibeShot is unable to shoot 4K video mainly due to the lack of processor compatibility.
Under the hood is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 SoC clocked at 1.7GHz each coupled with an Adreno 405 GPU. The SOC inside will not provide top of the line CPU performance though.
In fact the device isn't destined to be a powerhouse on the hindsight. For multitasking there is a 3GB of RAM, along with 32GB of onboard storage. There's an option for memory expansion via MicroSD slot.

On the front is a 5 inch Full HD (1920x1080) IPS LCD display and an 8MP front camera capable of shooting Full HD videos. Lenovo has packed a decent battery on the inside -3000mAh Li Poly.
