LG G6 and LG Q6 get new color variants; check them out

LG has announced three new color variants for the LG G6 smartphone, in an attempt to boost the sales of its 2017 flagship. The new color options include Moroccan Blue, Lavender Violet, and Raspberry Rose. Apart from that, the LG Q6 smartphone will also receive two new color variants; Moroccan Blue and Lavender Violet. Henceforth, the G6 and Q6 will have eight and seven color variants respectively.

As per the press statement published by the company, these new variants of the LG G6 and LG Q6 will be the perfect gift options for special occasions such as entrance ceremony, graduation ceremony, and Valentine's Day. LG had also launched a new Raspberry Rose edition of the LG V30 earlier this month. Currently, this color is only available for the latest flagship models in LG's G and V lineup.

The LG G6 will now be available in Moroccan Blue, Lavender Violet, Raspberry Rose, Astro Black, Ice Platinum, Mystic White, Terra Gold, and Marine Blue colour options. Whereas the LG Q6 will be available in Moroccan Blue, Lavender Violet, Astro Black, Ice Platinum, Mystic White, Terra Gold, and Marine Blue colour options.

LG G6 specifications

Just to recall, the LG G6 sports a 5.7-inch QHD+ LCD FullVision display with a resolution 2,880×1,440 pixels. The camera department comprises of a dual rear camera setup (13MP+13MP) with dual LED flash, 4K video recording, OIS and 71-degree wide-angle lens. The secondary camera has a 125-degree wide angle lens too. Up front, there is a 5MP selfie snapper with a 100-degree wide angle lens.

Under its hood, the LG G6 comes with a quad-core Snapdragon 821 SoC paired with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage space that can be further expanded using a microSD card. The device has a 3300mAh battery under its hood with fast charging ability.

LG Q6 specifications

LG Q6, on the other hand, comes with a 5.5-inch FHD+ FullVision with the 18:9 aspect ratio. The smartphone is powered by Snapdragon 435 processor teamed u with 3GB RAM and 32GB of expandable internal storage space.

To talk about the optics department, the LG Q6 flaunts a 13MP rear-facing main camera with LED flash. Likewise, there is a 5MP selfie camera that is equipped with a 100-degree wide-angle lens.

The smartphone runs on Android 7.1.1 Nougat OS and it is backed by a 3,000mAh non-removable battery. Connectivity features onboard include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.2 LE, GPS / GLONASS, USB OTG, 3.5mm audio jack and FM Radio.
