Mafe Mobile launches 4G-enabled AIR smartphone with Android Nougat at Rs. 3,999

Domestic brand Mafe Mobile has announced the launch of its latest 4G enabled smartphone; the AIR. Priced at just Rs. 3,999, the smartphone is available in two different colors; Champagne Gold and Coffee. It is available for purchase at 14,000+ retail points and leading e-commerce sites like Flipkart, Snapdeal, and ShopClues.

Talking about the specifications, the AIR comes with a 4-inch FWVGA display with the resolution of 800×480 pixels. As for innards, the smartphone is powered by a Quad-core Spreadtrum processor running at 1.3 GHz. The chipset is paired with 2GB RAM and 16GB of internal storage. The storage space is further expandable up to 32GB with the use of a microSD card.

For optics, the AIR uses a 5MP rear-facing primary sensor with LED flash support, while on the front there lies a 2MP camera. On the software front, the smartphone arrives pre-installed with Android 7.0 Nougat operating system, which is great for a device in this price segment.

Under the hood, the AIR is equipped with a 2,000mAh Li-Ion battery, which is claimed to last 10 hours of talk time and 22 hours of standby time. Weighing just 120g and measuring 10.7mm in thickness, the smartphone does justice to its name.

Connectivity features offered by this 4G smartphone include GPS, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, Wi-Fi Hotspot, gravity and proximity sensor and FM radio.
