Micromax Sends Out Invite for June 18, Canvas 5 Coming?

After a long gap, India's largest smartphone vendor Micromax is planning to launch a flagship smartphone, which is scheduled on June 18. According to the report, the company is expected to launch the so-called Canvas 5, which was expected last year.

Micromax Sends Out Invite for June 18, Canvas 5 Coming?

Micromax has sent out the press invites today for the June 18th launch in New Delhi. The invite says, " Mystery prisoner found locked in. Can he escape his destiny?" with a picture of prisoner covered with full Black dress.

This yet-to be launched mobile is likely to have a Full-HD display, a MediaTek Helio processor, 16MP rear camera.

The last flagship in the Canvas series was the Canvas 4, which was launched in 2013. Meanwhile, the company has launched lots of mid-range and low-end mobile under the affordable range.

As of now, we don't have any information about the device launch, meanwhile we have to wait until the launch date which is June 18.

Recently, Micromax has launched Canvas Knight, which comes packed with 5-inch HD AMOLED display, a Snapdragon 615 64-bit Octa-core processor, 2 GB of RAM, 13MP rear camera, a 5MP front camera and 16GB of on-board storage, Android 5.0 Lollipop.

For past few years, the Desi manufacturer Micromax has launched more than 25 devices with different features such as multi-language interface support, Windows phone OS, Android One all within the price tag of between Rs. 2,500 to 15,000.
