Mid-Range Champion Teased: Redmi Note 13 Pro Series Launch in India Set for January 2024

Xiaomi recently unveiled the Redmi 13C series in India. The line-up included the Redmi 13C and Redmi 13C 5G. However, before the event ended Xiaomi left dropped a major bombshell.

The brand confirmed that the livestream was entirely shot on the Redmi Note 13 Pro Plus. To recall the Redmi Note 13 series was unveiled in China earlier this year, including the Redmi Note 13 Pro and Redmi Note 13 Pro+.

Redmi Note 13 Pro+ India Launch Timeline Tipped

Now, Xiaomi has confirmed that the Redmi Note 13 Pro Plus is launching in India and globally in January 2024. To recall, the Redmi Note 13, Redmi Note 13 Pro, and Redmi Note 13 Pro+ were unveiled in China back in September.

Xiaomi is yet to confirm an exact launch date for the Redmi Note 13 series in India. Additionally, we believe that only the Redmi Note 13 Pro and Redmi Note 13 Pro+ will arrive in India and globally, while the vanilla Note 13 5G could arrive later.

Redmi Note 13 Pro+ Specifications

The Redmi Note 13 Pro+ is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7200 Ultra SoC paired with up to 16GB of LPDDR5 RAM and up to 512GB of UFS 3.1 storage. The Redmi Note 13 Pro Plus features a 6.67-inch 1.5K OLED TCL C7 12-bit display with a 120Hz refresh rate and 2712 x 1220 pixels resolution.

For optics, the Redmi Note 13 Pro Plus features a triple rear camera setup, headlined by a 200MP OIS Samsung HP3 ISOCELL primary camera. It is paired with an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens and a 2MP depth sensor. Up front, the Redmi Note 13 Pro+ opts for a 16 MP selfie camera. The phone also packs a 4880 mAh battery with 120W wired fast charging support.

The Redmi Note 13 Pro+ runs Android 13-based MIUI 14. Other notable features on the Redmi Note 13 Pro Plus include an X-axis linear motor for haptic feedback, dual-stereo speakers, an IP68 rating, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.3, NFC, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.
