Moto G53s Spotted on Google Play Console, to Feature Snapdragon 480 Chipset

Motorola is developing a new G-series smartphone called the Moto G53s. The device has now appeared on the Google Play Console, featuring a Qualcomm Snapdragon 480 processor. The listing also reveals a few key specifications of the upcoming smartphone.

The Moto G53s 5G will reportedly launch as a mid-range 5G-equipped smartphone. While there's no word on the launch timeline, we can expect it to debut soon, going by its appearance on the Google Play Console

Moto G53s 5G Features

The Moto G53s 5G was spotted on the Google Play Console with the codename Penang. According to the listing, the G53s 5G will be equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon SM4350 Soc, which is reported to be the Snapdragon 480 processor.

The chipset features two Qualcomm Kryo 460 cores clocked at 2GHz. It is accompanied by six Kryo 460 cores clocked at 1.8GHz. The SoC is paired with an Adreno 619 GPU with a frequency of 650Mhz.

The model seen on Geekbench features 4GB of RAM. The listing further reveals that the Moto G53s has an HD+ resolution of 720 x 1,600 pixels and a screen density of 280 dpi. As for the operating system, it will boot Android 13-based MyUX out of the box.

Since this is the first time the Moto G53s has been spotted in the wild, other details about the upcoming smartphone are still unknown. Meanwhile, we can have a quick look at the features of the regular Moto G53 which launched last year.
