Motorola has recently sent out press invites for a launch event where the company is believed to take the wraps off its Moto G6 lineup of smartphones; the Moto G6, Moto G6 Play, and Moto G6 Plus. The event will take place in Brazil on April 19. Ahead of the launch, the Moto G6 has been spotted on Amazon Canada's website.
The website listing doesn't reveal any images or pictures of the smartphone, but it does reveal some of the key specs of Moto G6. According to Amazon Canada's listing, the Moto G6 has a 5.7-inch full HD+ display with the screen resolution of 1080x2160 pixels.
Max Vision display and dual rear cameras
The display sports a 'Max vision', edge-to-edge design, which means it has the aspect ratio of 18:9. The listing shows the Moto G6 features a 3D glass back.
The listing further confirms the presence of a dual rear camera setup that boasts features like portrait shorts and in-built face filters. The Moto G6 seems to be powered by an octa-core processor clocked at 1.8GHz. The name of the chipset is not specified, but it is likely to be the Snapdragon 450 SoC.
Two memory variants
While Amazon Canada only lists the 32GB variant of the smartphone, Motorola is expected to launch a 64GB variant of Moto G6 as well. Speculations are rife that the 32GB model will have 3GB RAM, whereas the 64GB model will have 4GB RAM.
Previous reports have suggested the Moto G6's dual rear camera setup will comprise of a 12MP main sensor and a 5MP secondary sensor. At the front, there could be a 16MP selfie snapper.
Additionally, the Moto G6 is also tipped to feature a 3,000mAh battery, a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and Android Oreo operating system.
The Moto G6 is said to carry a price tag of $249.99, which translates to around Rs. 16,200.
