Motorola Edge 40 Leaked Promo Video Reveals Key Specs Ahead of Launch
A promotional video of the Motorola Edge 40 has surfaced online, offering a good look at the design and specifications of the upcoming smartphone. The Edge 40 is expected to launch in global markets in the near future.
Motorola Edge 40 Design
Going by the leaked promo video, the Edge 40 will come in black, red, and green colorways with a leather-like finish. Meanwhile, the light blue version may have an acrylic back.

The Motorola Edge 40 will feature a curved display and a punch-hole notch at the top which will house the selfie camera. The USB Type-C port, SIM tray, and speaker grille are located at the bottom. At the right-hand side are the power and volume buttons.
The Edge 40 sports a dual-camera array at the rear, headlined by a 50MP main camera with OIS (optical image stabilization). The camera will have an f/1.4 aperture and will be flanked by an LED flash.
Rumors suggest that it will be accompanied by a 13MP ultrawide sensor. The Motorola Edge 40 could also feature a 32MP camera at the front for selfies and video calls.

The Motorola Edge 40 is expected to feature a 6.55-inch AMOLED panel with a full-HD+ resolution. The display will reportedly feature a refresh rate of 144Hz and HDR 10+ support. The smartphone will likely sport an in-display fingerprint scanner for security.
The Edge 40 could be powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 8020 processor, accompanied by at least 8GB of RAM along with 128GB and 256GB internal storage options. Previous reports suggest that the handset may feature a 4,400mAh battery with 68W fast charging and 15W wireless charging support.
The Motorola Edge 40 will come with an IP68 rating for dust and water resistance. The smartphone is expected to debut in Lunar Blue, Eclipse Black, Nebula Green, and Magenta color options. There's still no word on the exact launch date.
