Motorola has officially announced its second smartphone in its Edge series in India. The Motorola Edge 50 Fusion sits right under the Edge 50 Pro in the country's sub-25K smartphone segment.

The Motorola Edge 50 Fusion features a Snapdragon chipset, a 144Hz OLED display, a sizeable battery with fast charging support, a leather finish, near-stock Android software, and a dual-camera setup.

The Motorola Edge 50 Fusion price in India starts from Rs 22,999 for the base 8GB/128GB model. The phone also comes in a 12GB/256GB configuration that will set you back Rs 24,999. The Motorola Edge 50 Fusion will go on sale in India through Flipkart, Motorola.in, and leading retail stores from May 22.

Additionally, ICICI Bank credit card holders can get an instant discount of Rs 2,000 on the Motorola Edge 50 Fusion. Motorola's latest mid-range smartphone comes in Forest Blue (Plastic), Marshmallow Blue (Vegan Leather), and Hot Pink (Vegan Leather Suede).

Motorola Edge 50 Fusion Specifications

The Motorola Edge 50 Fusion is powered by the Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 SoC paired with up to 12GB of LPDDR4X RAM and up to 256GB of UFS 2.2 storage. It packs a 5,000 mAh battery with 68W wired fast charging support but unlike its 'Pro' counterpart, there's no wireless charging.

The Motorola Edge 50 Fusion sports a 6.7-inch curved pOLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate. The panel boasts a peak brightness of 1,600 nits and Gorilla Glass 5 protection. The screen features a 144Hz refresh rate and HDR10+ support. It also has stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos support.

For optics, the Edge 50 Fusion gets a 50 MP Sony LYTIA-700C primary sensor with OIS and an f/1.88 aperture and a 13 MP ultrawide lens that doubles as a macro camera. Up front, there's a 32 MP selfie camera with an f/2.45 aperture. The handset runs Android 14-based Hello UX on top.

Motorola promises three years of Android OS updates and four years of regular security patches with the Edge 50 Fusion. Connectivity options include 4G, 5G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.2, GPS, NFC, a USB Type-C port, and more.
