The Motorola Edge 50 Pro goes on sale in India for the first time today via Flipkart and the company's official website. The Motorola Edge 50 Pro was unveiled earlier this month in the country's premium mid-range market.

Given its current price, the Edge 50 Pro is set to compete against the Vivo V30 and Redmi Note 13 Pro Plus. The Motorola Edge 50 Pro features a Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 SoC, a 144Hz OLED display, a sizeable battery with both wired and wireless fast charging support, and a 50 MP triple-camera setup.

Motorola Edge 50 Pro Sale, Price, Design

The Motorola Edge 50 Pro sale in India for the first time today at 12 noon (IST) via Flipkart, Motorola India's official website, and other leading stores across the country. The Motorola Edge 50 Pro price in India starts at Rs 31,999 for the base 8GB/256GB model. On the other hand, the 12GB/256GB variant is priced at Rs 35,999.

Customers can opt for an instant Rs 2,250 discount on the Motorola Edge 50 Pro using an HDFC Bank card or an exchange bonus of Rs 2,000. Motorola will be offering the Edge 50 Pro at an early bird discount of Rs 2,000 on both variants of the Edge 50 Pro.

The Motorola Edge 50 Pro is offered in Luxe Lavender, Black Beauty, and Moonlight Pearl color options. The Lavender and Black models opt for a vegan leather back panel, while the Moonlight Pearl variant features a TPU finish. Moreover, the Moto Edge 50 Pro also comes with a metal frame and an IP68 rating for dust and water resistance.

Motorola Edge 50 Pro Specifications

The Motorola Edge 50 Pro is powered by the Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 SoC paired with up to 12GB of LPDDR4X RAM and up to 256GB of UFS 2.2 storage. Motorola's latest premium mid-range smartphone packs a 4500 mAh battery with 125W wired and 50W wireless fast charging support.

It also supports 10W wireless power sharing, but Motorola only bundles a 68W adapter in the box for the base model. The Edge 50 Pro runs Android 14-based Hello UI on top. Motorola promises three years of OS upgrades and four years of regular security updates with the Edge 50 Pro.

Moreover, the Edge 50 Pro sports a 6.7-inch 1.5K p-OLED display with a peak brightness of 2,000 nits and a pixel density of 446ppi. The panel boasts a 144Hz refresh rate and a 360Hz touch sampling rate. The display features 100% DCI-P3 color gamut coverage, HDR10+ support, and SGS Eye Protection.

On the back, the Motorola Edge 50 Pro opts for a triple-camera setup with a 50 MP primary sensor with an f/1.4 aperture and OIS support. The phone also comes with a 13 MP ultrawide Macro Vision camera and a 10 MP telephoto shooter with an f/2.0 aperture, OIS support, and 3x optical zoom. Up front, the Edge 50 Pro boasts a 50 MP selfie camera with Autofocus.
