Motorola Edge 70 Pro Launched in India with MTK Dimensity 8500 Extreme, 144Hz OLED Display, 50MP Sony Camera

The Motorola Edge 70 Pro has officially been unveiled in India as the third phone in the series, following the launch of the Edge 70 and Edge 70 Fusion. The Edge 70 Pro features a MediaTek chipset, dual 50MP cameras, a vibrant OLED display, and a sizeable silicon carbon battery.

The Motorola Edge 70 Pro price in India starts from Rs 38,999 for the 8GB/256GB model. Moreover, the 12GB/256GB configuration will set you back Rs 41,999. Motorola is offering an instant discount of Rs 2,000 using HDFC and ICICI Bank cards or an additional exchange bonus of Rs 2,000 on the Edge 70 Pro.

The Moto Edge 70 Pro will go on sale in India through Flipkart, Motorola.in, and offline stores starting from April 29. The device is offered in three distinctive finishes: PANTONE Lily White with a refined marble texture, PANTONE Tea featuring a smooth satin luxe finish, and PANTONE Titan with a premium tailored fabric back.

Motorola Edge 70 Pro Specifications

Motorola has expanded its Edge lineup in India with the launch of the Edge 70 Pro, targeting users who prioritise performance, cameras, and fast charging in a slim form factor. The device combines a large AMOLED display, a capable MediaTek chipset, and long-term software support, positioning it competitively in the mid-premium segment.

The smartphone features a 6.8-inch 1.5K Extreme AMOLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate, 10-bit colour support, and up to 5200 nits peak brightness. It is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 7i and paired with a metal frame, while IP68 and IP69 ratings enhance durability.

Under the hood, the Edge 70 Pro runs on the Dimensity 8500 Extreme 4nm processor with Mali-G720 MC8 GPU. It comes in 8GB and 12GB LPDDR5X RAM variants with 256GB UFS 4.1 storage. A 4600 mm² vapour chamber helps manage thermals during gaming and heavy usage.

For photography, the phone includes a 50MP LYTIA-710 primary sensor with OIS, a 50MP ultra-wide camera with macro support, and a multispectral sensor. On the front, there is a 50MP autofocus camera, with both front and rear supporting 4K 60fps video recording.

The device packs a 6500mAh silicon-carbon battery with 90W fast charging. Connectivity features include 5G, Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.4, and NFC. It runs Android 16 with the latest version of Hello UI on top. Moreover, Motorola promises three OS upgrades and five years of security updates with the Edge 70 Pro.
