The Motorola Edge 70 Pro is set to go on sale in India for the first time today. The Motorola Edge 70 Pro debuted as the third phone in the line-up, following the launch of the Moto Edge 70 and Edge 70 Fusion. However, it follows the same design formula was its vanilla and Fusion counterparts.

The Motorola Edge 70 Pro features a MediaTek chipset, a dual-camera setup, a vibrant 1.5K OLED display, 4K video recording at 60fps across all camera lenses, and a sizeable silicon carbon battery with fast charging support. The Edge 70 Pro also retains the premium design and build of its predecessor.

The Motorola Edge 70 Pro price in India starts from Rs 38,999 for the base 8GB/256GB model, while the 12GB/256GB configuration will set you back Rs 41,999.

You can purchase the Edge 70 Pro in India through company's official website, Flipkart, and other partner retailers starting 12 pm (IST) today. Customers using HDFC or ICICI Bank cards receive an instant discount of Rs 2,000 or can instead opt for a Rs 2,000 exchange bonus.

Motorola is offering three finishes for the Edge 70 Pro, all using PANTONE shades. PANTONE Lily White has a marble-like texture, PANTONE Tea uses a smooth satin luxe finish, while PANTONE Titan features a tailored fabric back. The design is intended to provide a distinct look and feel in the mid-premium segment.

Motorola is positioning the Edge 70 Pro for users who value performance, cameras, and quick charging in a slim body. The handset uses the 4nm Dimensity 8500 Extreme chipset with a Mali-G720 MC8 GPU. A 4600 mm² vapour chamber is included to control temperatures during long gaming sessions or intensive multitasking.

The Motorola Edge 70 Pro features a 6.8-inch 1.5K Extreme AMOLED panel with a 144Hz refresh rate and 10-bit colour. The display can reach up to 5200 nits peak brightness, which should help in strong sunlight. Corning Gorilla Glass 7i protection, a metal frame, and IP68 and IP69 ratings aim to improve durability against dust and water.

The Moto Edge 70 Pro carries a 50MP LYTIA-710 primary camera with optical image stabilisation, paired with a 50MP ultra-wide sensor that also works for macro shots. A multispectral sensor assists the rear setup. On the front, a 50MP autofocus camera handles selfies, and both sides support 4K 60fps video recording.

On the software side, the Moto Edge 70 Pro ships with Android 16 along with the latest Hello UI skin. Connectivity options include 5G support, Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.4, and NFC for contactless payments. The 6500mAh silicon-carbon battery is matched with 90W fast charging, aiming to deliver long usage with quick top-ups between charges.
