Motorola Edge 70 Specifications Revealed Ahead of Launch on November 5 as Geekbench Listing Surfaces

Motorola is gearing up to unveil its next mid-range contender, the Edge 70, on November 5, and the brand is already building anticipation with early teasers.

The upcoming smartphone promises a blend of elegant design, capable performance, and impressive battery efficiency, making it a strong choice for users who value both aesthetics and everyday practicality.

Motorola Edge 70 Specifications

At just 5.99mm thick, the Edge 70 stands out as one of Motorola's slimmest smartphones to date. Despite its sleek build, it packs a 4,800mAh silicon-carbon battery, notably larger than the iPhone Air's 3,149mAh and the Galaxy S25 Edge's 3,900mAh cells. The phone supports 68W wired and 15W wireless charging, offering up to two days of battery life on a single charge.

Powering the device is Qualcomm's Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 processor, paired with 12GB of LPDDR5X RAM and up to 512GB of UFS 3.1 storage. Early Geekbench 6 scores place its performance on par with the MediaTek Dimensity 8350 seen in the Edge 60 Pro.

The display specs are equally premium, featuring a 6.7-inch 1.5K pOLED panel with a 120Hz refresh rate, 4,500 nits of peak brightness, and Gorilla Glass 7i protection. Photography is handled by dual 50MP rear cameras (main and ultrawide) and a 50MP front camera, ensuring crisp, detailed shots across scenarios.

Motorola Edge 70 Pricing

In China-where it launches as the Moto X70 Air, the phone is priced at 2,599 yuan (roughly Rs 32,300) for the 12GB + 256GB model and 2,899 yuan (roughly Rs 36,000) for the 12GB + 512GB variant.

Globally, the Motorola Edge 70 could be priced at around €699 (roughly Rs 72,000), but Motorola is reportedly preparing launch offers worth over €550 (roughly Rs 56,650) in early-bird vouchers and regional discounts.

If those promotions extend internationally, the Edge 70 could undercut rivals like the Pixel 9a, positioning itself as a near-flagship at a mid-range price.
