As promised, the Illinois-based handset maker Motorola has launched has launched its shatter-proof smartphone in the Indian market today.
Dubbed as Moto X Force, this device features Moto ShatterShield the world's first shatterproof smartphone display, so it won't let you down, and leave your side, even when it falls!
The Moto X Force display is made of an integrated system of five layers that absorb shock impact. This 5 layers includes - Proprietary hard coat for exterior protection, a shield for protecting the interior lens, Dual touch layer for safeguarding touch sensitivity and touchscreen, and an aluminum chassis.
Moving on to the specifications, the Moto X Force sports a 5.4-inch Quad HD AMOLED display with a resolution of 1440×2560 pixels with Moto Shattershield technology. This device is clocked at 2.0 GHz Octa-Core Snapdragon 810 processor with Adreno 430 as GPU.
Talking about the storage, this device is equipped with 3GB LPDDR4 RAM with 32GB/64GB ROM with an expansion option via microSD card up to 2TB.
On the software front, this device is shipped with Android 5.1.1 Lollipop, which can be upgradeable to Android 6.0 in future. The imaging factor is backed by 21MP rear camera with dual-tone LED flash, 4K video recording and 5MP camera on the front, with wide angle lens.
Meanwhile, the Moto X Force has connectivity options including 4G LTE / 3G, 802.11a/b/g/n/ac 2.4 GHz + 5 GHz with MIMO, Bluetooth 4.1 LE, GPS, GLONASS, NFC. Above hardware is powered by a 3760mAh battery with Turbocharging, which gets up to 8 hours of battery life in just 15 minutes.
Coming in 3 color variants White, Black and Grey, the Moto X Force will carry a price tag of Rs. 49,999 for 32GB, Rs. 53,999 for 64GB.
This device will be available across both online and the offline retail channel including Amazon, Flipkart, Chroma, Spice Hotspot in India starting from 8th February 2016 with easy EMI options on select bank credit cards.
