Motorola Moto G Stylus Render Leak Reveals 50MP Dual Camera Setup

Stylus-equipped phones are a rarity, with very few companies still endorsing this design. While Samsung rules the roost in this smartphone design, Motorola is not far behind, having released stylus-equipped phones for some time. A new design render for Motorola's upcoming stylus phone, dubbed the Moto G Stylus 2023, recently surfaced online.

Motorola Moto G Stylus: Fresh Design, Dual 50MP Cameras

The render of the upcoming Moto G Stylus was recently leaked by OnLeaks, whose patreon supporter subsequently retweeted it to more followers.

The render reveals a wealth of information about the upcoming smartphone. While the front of the device appears identical to previous year's model, the back of the smartphone has a new design, which seems consistent with Motorola's design aesthetic this year. The camera island is now more squared than the oval shape of last year's model, and the new look feels more modern and looks better than its predecessor. The device's edges also appear to be tapered around the edges.

When it comes to the cameras, we can see right away that there is a prominent "50MP" text on the right side of the camera lens, indicating that at least one camera uses a 50MP sensor, though whether it is Sony's is unknown. However, there is no information currently on the second camera or the selfie shooter.

Of course, the Moto G Stylus would be incomplete without its stylus, which is visible at the bottom of the device next to the speaker grille.

Although this is a high-resolution render and OnLeaks has been consistently accurate with its leaks and renders, it also highly possible that this is not the final product, so we advise you to take this render with a pinch of salt. Usually when either subsequent images of a device leak or the company makes an official annoucement, the device may have minor visual differences or a completely different design from what was earlier rumored.

Even though we don't know how much the device will cost, we expect Motorola to offer a competitive price to attract a larger audience. There is no information on the official announcement of the device either.

Nonetheless, it's great to see Motorola catering to this market, where Samsung appears to be the de facto king. Motorola's offering is an alternative for users looking for a stylus-equipped phone that doesn't break the bank.
