Motorola Moto Z3 Play leaked render shows glass back, dual rear cameras
The new render shows the Moto Z3 Play from both front and rear.
Looking at Motorola's past launch patterns, we don't expect the company to announce the new Moto Z series before Q3 2018. However, the leaks and rumors centering the smartphones have already started pouring in. After appearing in leaked renders earlier this month, the Motorola Moto Z3 has again been spotted in a fresh render.
The new render shows the Moto Z3 Play from both front and rear. The smartphone has an elongated display with the aspect ratio of 18:9 with thinner bezels all around. To keep the bezels narrow, Motorola has decided to remove the physical home button at the front. The bottom bezel only features the logo of the company, whereas the top bezel houses the selfie camera, LED flash, and earpiece.
At the rear, you can see Moto Z3 Play sporting a familiar circular camera module. The camera setup houses two sensors, which are accompanied by an LED flash. A little below the camera module, Motorola's batwing logo is placed.
The Moto Z3 Play appears to feature a metallic frame and a glass rear. The right side of the phone bears the volume controllers and the side-mounted fingerprint scanner. The left side of the phone has the power button. The bottom edge of the Moto Z3 Play only has a USB Type-C Port. The 3.5mm audio jack can't be seen anywhere, suggesting Motorola may have ditched it.
As far as specifications are concerned, the Moto Z3 Play is expected to arrive with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 processor paired with 4GB/6GB RAM and 32GB/64GB storage space.
The dual rear camera setup could include a 12MP primary sensor and an 8MP sensor. The Moto Z3 Play is also tipped to feature a 5MP selfie camera and a standard 3,000mAh battery. The handset will reportedly measure 156.4×76.47×8.92 mm.
The Moto Z3 Play has already made its way to the FCC certification site. The smartphone was listed on FCC with Android 8.1 Oreo operating system. While there is no official confirmation yet, Moto Z3 Force could also launch alonsgide the Moto Z3 Play. In any case, we might have to wait for a while before the smartphones are made official.
