Motorola Razr 60 and 60 Ultra: Leaked Promo Video and Renders Reveal Key Specs and Colors

Motorola's upcoming foldables - the Razr 60 and Razr 60 Ultra - have broken cover ahead of their official debut. While the company hasn't made any announcements yet, detailed renders leaked by YTECHB, early promo materials shared by Evan Blass (@evleaks), and a leaked promo video offer a complete look at what's coming.

From upgraded internals to subtle design refinements, the 2025 Razr lineup feels more like a thoughtful evolution than a radical reboot.

Motorola Razr 60 Series Leaks Reveal Refined Design, Colors, and More

Build and Design

Both devices stick to the familiar clamshell form factor, but key differences in screen size and styling set them apart. The Razr 60 Ultra keeps its signature wraparound external display, which frames the dual-camera setup and dominates the upper half of the closed phone. In contrast, the Razr 60 features a smaller cover screen, creating space for the back panel's visual elements to shine through and integrate with the front more cohesively.

A major point of emphasis this year is color. Motorola continues its partnership with Pantone, and the renders showcase an array of curated finishes - each model receiving its own palette.

Razr 60 Ultra Colors:

  • Pantone Mountain Trail
  • Pantone Rio Red
  • Pantone Scarab

These deeper, richer hues give the Ultra a premium, bold aesthetic that aligns with its flagship identity.

Razr 60 Colors:

  • Pantone Gibraltar Sea
  • Pantone Spring Bud
  • Pantone Lightest Sky

The standard Razr 60 comes in softer, more lifestyle-oriented shades, reinforcing its appeal to a broader, style-conscious demographic.

Flagship Specs for the Ultra, Balanced Internals for the Base

In terms of specs, Motorola is continuing its dual-tier strategy. The Razr 60 Ultra will run on Qualcomm's Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset (as shown in the promo video), with up to 18GB of RAM and potentially 1TB of internal storage. Early certifications even suggest that a 2TB Ultra model might be in the works - which would be a first for any Motorola phone.

The Razr 60, meanwhile, opts for MediaTek's Dimensity 7400X. While not a flagship chip, it offers solid performance for everyday tasks, content consumption, and moderate multitasking - keeping the device approachable for users who prioritize design and utility over raw horsepower.

Lastly, both phones are reported to include 4,500 mAh batteries.

A New Button - and a Hint of What's Coming

One detail that stands out in the Ultra's design is a new button on the left edge of the frame. Its function hasn't been confirmed, but it doesn't align with any of the traditional volume or power placements seen in earlier models.

Speculation suggests it might be connected to Motorola's Moto AI assistant, or possibly serve as a programmable shortcut key.

Expected Launch

Motorola has yet to announce an official launch date, but given the extent of the leaks - including a polished promotional video - the reveal likely isn't far off.
