Motorola Razr 60 Ultra Leaks Reveal Large Cover Display, Premium Faux Leather Finish, and a Telephoto Camera?

Motorola's Razr lineup has consistently targeted users who want a foldable phone experience with a balance of premium design and functionality. The upcoming Motorola Razr 60 Ultra, expected to launch soon, has now surfaced through leaked renders, shedding light on its design and key specifications.

Interestingly, the device was listed as the Motorola Razr Ultra 2025 on Geekbench, hinting at a possible rebranding.

Motorola Razr 60 Ultra Renders Leaked: Here’s What’s Changing

Refined Design and Premium Finish

Leaked images of the Razr 60 Ultra, shared by Android Headlines, reveal a dark green finish with a faux leather rear panel, giving it a premium look. This is a departure from the Spring Green shade used in its predecessor, the Razr 50 Ultra. The side frame has a polished shine, complementing the overall aesthetic.

One of the defining aspects of the Razr series has been its large cover display, and that trend appears to continue. The outer screen wraps around the dual-camera module, making it one of the most immersive cover displays in the foldable phone segment.

The right edge of the phone houses volume buttons and a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, while the bottom edge includes a SIM slot, microphone, USB-C port, and speaker.

Hardware and Software Expectations

The Motorola Razr 60 Ultra is rumored to be powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 8 Elite SoC, a significant leap from the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 used in its predecessor. Paired with 12GB RAM and Android 15, the device is expected to deliver a high-end performance suitable for multitasking and gaming.

The cover display is rumored to be 4 inches diagonally and will continue supporting the full suite of Android applications-a feature that differentiates Motorola's foldable phones from competitors. This allows users to play videos, access notifications, use a full-screen keyboard, and even interact with Google Gemini directly on the outer screen.

Motorola's software experience is expected to remain close to stock Android, with additional optimizations for foldable usability. Users can pin frequently used apps to the cover screen, use gesture-based selfies, and take advantage of the external display for group shots and collages.

Cameras and Other Features

The dual-camera setup on the back is likely to include a primary wide-angle sensor and a telephoto lens, which would mark the return of optical zoom-a feature missing from last year's model. The internal foldable screen is expected to be 6.9 inches with a punch-hole camera, similar to its predecessor.

Launch and Pricing Speculation

The Motorola Razr 60 Ultra is expected to launch in April 2025, aligning with past Razr releases. In the US, it might be marketed as the Razr Plus 2025, while globally, it could retain the Razr 60 Ultra branding.

The Razr 50 Ultra debuted at ₹99,999 in India, and with a flagship Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, the upcoming model could see a price increase.
