The Xiaomi 14 Ultra, the company's most premium smartphone, made its global debut ahead of MWC 2024. The Xiaomi 14 Ultra was unveiled in China last week as the top-end smartphone in the company's 14 series.
The Xiaomi 14 Ultra puts a major emphasis on camera performance, with four 50 MP rear cameras co-developed with Leica. Apart from the hardware, the Xiaomi 14 Ultra also features a robust build and premium design. Here's everything you need to know about the device.

Xiaomi 14 Ultra Pricing
The Xiaomi 14 Ultra features a whopping price tag of EUR 1,500 (roughly Rs 1,34,650) for the sole 16GB/512GB variant. Moreover, the handset is offered in Black and White color options. Xiaomi is offering a free-screen replacement for six months with the purchase of the Xiaomi 14 Ultra.
Additionally, the company also unveiled the vanilla Xiaomi 14 in Europe, although the '14 Pro' model seems limited to the Chinese market. Recent reports suggest that the Xiaomi 14 Ultra will make its debut in India, although the last 'Ultra' phone released in the country was the Mi 11 Ultra.
Xiaomi 14 Ultra Specifications
The Xiaomi 14 Ultra is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC paired with up to 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and up to 1TB of UFS 4.0 storage. The phone features a 3x larger vapor cooling chamber for better heat dissipation. The Xiaomi 14 Ultra runs on Android 14-based HyperOS.
Xiaomi's ultra-premium smartphone sports a 6.73-inch 2K (3200 x 1440 pixels) C8 OLED display with a 20:9 aspect ratio. The panel boasts a 120Hz adaptive refresh rate (1Hz to 120Hz), 1920Hz PWM Dimming, and a peak brightness of 3,000 nits. The screen also supports Dolby Vision and HDR10+ formats.
There are dual stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos support and Hi-Res Audio. The Xiaomi 14 Ultra also features an in-display fingerprint reader and a USB 3.2 Type-C port. The handset packs a 5,300 mAh battery with 90W wired and a whopping 80W wireless fast charging support.

Xiaomi 14 Ultra Cameras
The main highlight of Xiaomi's top-end flagship is undoubtedly its quad-camera setup on the back that consists of four 50 MP sensors co-developed by experts Leica. For the main camera, the Xiaomi 14 Ultra uses a 1-inch type 50 MP Sony LYT-900 sensor with Hyper OIS, and a variable f/1.63 - f/4.0 aperture.
The main camera is paired with a 50 MP Sony IMX858 ultrawide shooter with an f/1.8 aperture and a 50 MP Sony IMX 858 telephoto unit with 3.2x optical zoom, an f/1.8 aperture, and OIS support. Lastly, there's a 50 MP Sony IMX858 periscope sensor with 5x optical zoom, OIS, and an f/2.5 aperture.
The camera system also features a new AI-powered 30x Ultra Zoom. The rear cameras on the Xiaomi 14 Ultra are co-developed with experts Leica.
