New Camera Control Button on iPhone 16 Series Explained: Here's What it Does!

This latest lineup includes four models: iPhone 16, iPhone 16 Plus, iPhone 16 Pro, and iPhone 16 Pro Max. Apple's Camera Control: Key Features

All iPhone 16 models come equipped with the new Camera Control feature. This capacitive button, which provides haptic feedback, resembles a side fingerprint sensor and is positioned on the lower right side of the devices. It can be easily accessed using the thumb in portrait mode.

The Camera Control button allows users to swiftly launch the camera, capture photos, or start recording videos. The Camera Control button can be used alongside Apple Intelligence to identify objects and places in real-time. For example, users can capture an image of their surroundings and use AI to obtain details about it. Holding down Camera Control can provide information like restaurant hours or ratings.

This feature also allows users to add events from flyers to their calendar or identify dog breeds by taking photos. These capabilities will be added to iPhone 16 models later this year, enhancing user experience through AI-driven insights.

Price Adjustments for Previous Models

Following the launch of the iPhone 16 series, prices for older models like iPhone 15 and iPhone 14 have been reduced. This price adjustment makes previous generations more accessible while highlighting the advanced features of the new lineup.
