New Nokia XR30 Renders and Key Specifications Leaked Ahead of Launch

It appears that Nokia is preparing to release the Nokia XR30 smartphone, a successor to the rugged Nokia XR20, which featured a 6.67-inch display, an octa-core Snapdragon 480 5G chipset, an IP68 dust and water resistance rating, and MIL-STD-810H certification.

We can see right away that the Nokia XR30 has a striking green color, which gives the phone a few points for appeal, as rugged phones typically don't have much in the way of style.

Moving on, the XR30 has a dual-camera setup with an LED flash. There is also an XR label engraved beside the camera module. The selfie camera is housed in a hole-punched cutout in the center.

The Nokia XR30, like the Nokia XR20, is expected to be MIL-STD-810H compliant and to have an IP68 rating.

The Nokia XR30 is expected to have 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. The handset will have a 64MP primary camera and an 8MP ultra-wide lens for optics. The phone will have a 16MP camera for selfies. The device will include a 4,600mAh battery that supports 33W fast charging.

There is no information on the handset's display, but if the XR20's display is any indication, the XR30 could sport a 6.67-inch LCD display with FHD+ resolution.

The XR30 is expected to have an IP68 dust and water resistance rating and a MIL-STD-810H certification against extreme temperature, moist, dust, and shock factors in keeping with the series' emphasis on ruggedness as a selling point.

The device is expected to retail at $499 (roughly ₹40,800). This upcoming smartphone was first referenced as Nokia Sentry 5G which made an appearance in the company's presentation video on YouTube last year.
