Nokia X30 5G to Launch in India Soon

The Nokia X30 was launched in the US and European markets last year. The company's 'most eco-friendly phone yet' will soon make its way to India, according to HMD Global's Vice President Sanmeet Kochhar.

The HMD exec took to Twitter to announce that the Nokia X30 is "coming soon to India". However, there was no mention of the exact launch date. The X30's pricing also remains under wraps.

Nokia X30 5G: Specifications

The Nokia X30 5G sports a 6.43-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a resolution of 1800×2400 pixels and a refresh rate of 90Hz. The screen is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass Victus.

Coming to the imaging capabilities, the Nokia X30 sports a dual camera setup comprising a 50MP main camera and a 13MP ultra-wide camera. The 50MP main camera uses AI and supports Optical Image Stabilization (OIS). Additionally, the smartphone is equipped with a 16MP camera at the front for selfies.

The Nokia X30 is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 processor. It is paired with up to 8GB of RAM and up to 256GB of internal storage. The handset runs Android 12 out of the box. The X30 gets three OS upgrades, three years of monthly security updates, and comes with a three-year warranty.

When it comes to connectivity, the Nokia X30 supports Wi-Fi, NFC, 4G VoLTE, 5G, USB OTG, USB Type-C, and Bluetooth v5.1. The device packs a 4,200 mAh battery which supports 33W fast charging. The smartphone is IP67-rated for dust and water resistance.

Nokia X30 5G: Availability

The Nokia X30 5G is currently available in the US as well as European markets in Cloudy Blue and Ice White colors. The smartphone is set to arrive in India soon, however the exact launch date has not been revealed.

In the US, the Nokia X30 is priced at $540 for the 8GB + 256GB model. There's still no word regarding the smartphone's pricing in India.
