Nokia 5.2 FCC Certification Reveals Key Details

|

HMD Global, which launches Nokia branded smartphones and feature phones has been bringing new products to the market from time to time. Recently, the company launched the Nokia 6.2 and Nokia 7.2 smartphones. Now, it looks like the company is prepping to take the wraps off the more affordable device, the Nokia 5.2.

Nokia 5.2 FCC Certification Reveals Key Details

The upcoming Nokia smartphone, the Nokia 5.2 will be positioned as the successor to the Nokia 5.1. This device has been missing from the company's arsenal for months making us believe that it is all set to be announced soon. Eventually, the device has appeared at the FCC database hinting at its imminent launch.

Nokia 5.2 FCC Listing

NokiaPowerUser has reported that the Nokia 5.2 has been spotted at the FCC database in three different variants. The battery and screen size of the device have been revealed by the certification database.

Going by the same, the Nokia TA-1214 is likely to be the Nokia 5.2. It looks like this device will be a single SIM variant of the Nokia 2.3 with the model number TA-1206. The TA-1214 and TA-1206 FCC models seem to have a 6.1-inch display and this makes sense as the Nokia 2.2 has a smaller 5.7-inch display. It appears to measure 157.69 x 75.41 mm and get the power from a 3920mAh battery.

There are claims that there will be another model, which could be the Nokia 2.3 that could be announced sometime soon. However, this is believed to be a sequel to the Nokia 2.2. Though it is a new phone, it is likely to be a minor upgrade to the above-mentioned model launched a few months back.

What We Think About Nokia 5.2

As mentioned above, the Nokia 5.2 is believed to be the sequel to the Nokia 5.1. As of now, there is no word regarding what we can expect from the upcoming Nokia smartphone to feature improved specifications than the previously launched device. We can expect more details to be revealed by the company in the coming days.
