The Nokia 6 that was announced earlier this year was launched for the Indian market in June at a price of Rs. 14,999 along with the Nokia 5 and Nokia 3 smartphones.
While the other two were launched as offline exclusive models, the Nokia 6 is exclusive to the online retailer Amazon India. The pre-registrations for the smartphone debuted on July 14 on the retailer's website. Now, Amazon India has announced that the Nokia 6 has received over 1 million pre-registrations for the first sale. The first flash sale of the Nokia 6 will happen on August 23 and the number of registrations will surely increase in the meantime.
The Nokia 6 comes with special offers on Amazon India. The device will have Amazon apps such as Kindle, Prime Video, etc. preloaded in it. Also, the Amazon Prime members purchasing the smartphone on the sale day will get Rs. 1,000 cash back as Amazon Pay balance.
Priced at Rs. 14,999, the Nokia 6 is one of the best value for money smartphones in the Indian market right now. The device is built using aluminum 6000 series that will make it robust. In our first impressions, we found the Nokia 6 to be a capable performer that will receive prompt updates on a timely basis unlike many other Android smartphones in the market.
