Nokia 7 Plus concept renders show 18:9 display, dual rear cameras
The concept renders look very realistic and we won't be surprised if the original Nokia 7 Plus sports a similar design.
HMD Global is expected to unveil a series of new Nokia branded smartphones at MWC 2018. Among other phones, Nokia 7 Plus is also speculated to launch at the upcoming MWC. Over the past few days, the smartphone has appeared in multiple leaks, revealing its specs and design. Earlier this week, the entire specs sheet along with an image of the Nokia 7 Plus had surfaced online.
Now, designers at Science and Knowledge YouTube channel have released some concept renders of Nokia 7 Plus based on its leaked specs. From the renders, you can get a fair idea of what to expect from the smartphone in terms of design. It is important to note that these images are not part of any leak. That said, the concept renders look very realistic and we won't be surprised if the original smartphone sports a similar design.
Full-screen design
Just like most of the smartphones these days, the Nokia 7 Plus is shown to feature a full-screen design and a display with the aspect ratio of 18:9. The bezels around the display are really narrow as compared to other Nokia phones. Especially, the bezels on the sides are almost negligible.
Due to the lack of space at the front, the smartphone doesn't feature a physical home button. So the fingerprint scanner has been moved to the back.
Glass back and vertically arranged dual cameras
Coming to the rear panel, the Nokia 7 Plus apparently sports a dual camera setup. The image sensors are placed vertically inside a single housing. There is also an LED flash on the right.
The renders also indicate that the smartphone has a glass back. You can notice the fingerprint scanner just below the camera setup.
Specifications
Nokia 7 Plus is expected to come with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 processor paired with 4GB RAM. The smartphone is likely to offer 64GB internal storage space, which can be further expanded using a microSD card.
The rear camera setup is said to be comprised of a 12MP sensor and a 13MP sensor from Zeiss. On the software front, the smartphone is speculated to run on Android 8.0 Oreo operating system.
