Nokia 9.1 PureView Images Surface Online; Punch-Hole Display, Penta-Lens Camera Tipped
The rumor mill is churning out information on the Nokia 2.3, Nokia 5.2, and the Nokia 8.2 for quite some time now. Now, it's the Nokia 9.1 PureView making rounds over the web. The successor to the company's first penta-lens smartphone - the Nokia 9 PureView, the smartphone is expected to arrive in the Q2 of 2020. The fresh set of leaks has come up in the form of dummy images. Here is all you need to know:
Nokia 9.1 PureView Dummy Images Surface Online
The Nokia 9.1 PureView leaked dummy images suggest a penta-lens rear camera setup. The design is said to be similar to the Nokia X71 which was launched earlier this year with a punch-hole display.
The in-display camera cut-out seems to be the primary distinction in terms of design as compared to its predecessor. Besides, the Nokia 9.1 PureView will most likely ship with Android 10 and offer a stock Android experience.
It remains to be seen if the handset comes with 5G connectivity support, however, considering its launch next year it makes more sense for the company to offer this feature.
The dummy images of the Nokia 9.1 PureView come from NPU where the phone is seen wrapped in different cases. Therefore, it would be hard to say just yet if the device will offer a gradient rear panel or will come with a similar glass-back design as its predecessor.
As of now, the information related to its hardware is limited, but the device has been tipped with a Snapdragon 855 processor earlier. While the market has now Snapdragon 855+ processor to offer, we expected HMD Global to use the latest chipset on its flagship smartphone.
The Nokia 9.1 PureView is yet to be revealed in its full glory and we are waiting for some more information on its hardware and key design elements. Also, it remains to be seen in which price bucket it lands in India and which devices it challenges.
