Nokia Unveils Budget-Friendly C12 Plus Smartphone for ₹7,999
Nokia has launched the affordable C12 Plus smartphone through its official website. The new phone is part of the C series of smartphones, which also includes the recently released C12 and C12 Pro. The C12 Plus features a large HD screen, a Unisoc processor, and an 8MP rear camera, as well as Android 12 Go out of the box, for a low price of ₹7,999.
Nokia C12 Plus Launched
The Nokia C12 Plus sports a 6.3-inch HD+ display with a 5MP selfie shooter housed in a teardrop notch. The back camera is an 8MP sensor and the phone features a 3.5mm headphone jack and an ancient micro USB port.

The name of the processor powering the C12 Plus has not been listed on Nokia's Indian website, but given that the chipset has four cores with a maximum clock frequency of 1.6Ghz, it could be the Unisoc SC9863A1, the same chipset powering the standard C12 and the C12 Pro. The Nokia C12 Plus comes pre-installed with Android 12 Go.
Unlike the C12 Pro, the C12 Plus only comes in one configuration: 2GB of RAM and 32GB of storage. However, the phones support microSD card expansion of up to 256GB.
The phone is powered by a large 4,000mAh battery, which is larger than the ones found in the C12 and C12 Pro. In terms of connectivity, the phone supports Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 5.2.

Lastly, the phone comes in three attractive colors: Charcoal, Dark Cyan, and Light Mint.
Nokia C12 Plus: Price and Availability
The Nokia C12 will cost ₹7,999, which is unusual given that the C12 Pro offers more RAM (3GB) and double the storage (64GB) at a lesser price of ₹7,499.
There is no word on when the device will go on sale, but given that it has been officially launched, we could see it in the coming weeks.
