Nokia X concept renders seem to be unbelievable
Nokia X has been imagined with a notch at the top left corner on the front, a dual-camera setup at the rear and more.
HMD Global has just launched the Nokia 7 Plus, new Nokia 6 and Nokia 8 Sirocco smartphones in India. While the company is focusing on the global release of these new smartphones, a new concept video has emerged online showing the futuristic concept renders of the Nokia X smartphone. Nokia smartphones have always been durable despite their sleek and trendy design, so we can expect the same to be the case with the Nokia X.
The Nokia X concept renders and video show that the device could be very different from the design we have seen earlier. The design of the smartphone appears to be very different than the existing smartphones in the market. Despite being different, it looks futuristic as well.
For now, we know that HMD is working on flagship smartphones - Nokia 9 and Nokia 8 Pro. We have not come across rumors regarding a device dubbed Nokia X. There is an Android smartphone with the moniker but it dates back to 2014. Apparently, the Nokia X moniker could have been the designer's imagination just like the design.
In the concept renders, the Nokia X appears to feature a metal and glass build. It appears to have a 'full-screen' display along with a notch. Unlike many other smartphones, the notch is not at the center of the screen but at the top left corner. The device also appears to feature stereo speakers.
Moving on to the rear, the Nokia X seems to house a fingerprint sensor to unlock the phone and the Nokia logo in the middle. We can see dual cameras at the rear aligned horizontally along with LED flash at the middle of the sensors. There is a Zeiss branding hinting at the partnership between the two companies, which first happened in 2017 for the Nokia 8. The other goodies revealed by the concept renders and video of the Nokia X are the presence of a USB Type-C port, a 3.5mm audio jack, and seven color variants.
You can watch the Nokia X concept video from below to know how the futuristic smartphone actually looks like.
